FAQ’s The Staffordshire Balloon Fiesta 2022

As we get closer and closer to The Staffordshire Balloon Fiesta, we are getting lots of questions related to the weekend.

When is the Staffordshire Balloon Fiesta?
The Balloon Fiesta is the Friday, Balloon, Tunes and Fireworks on the 15^th of July and Saturday the 16^th of July: Balloon Fiesta Day.

What time does it open?
Friday 4 pm-10:45pm
Saturday 12pm-10:45pm

Where can I get tickets?
Tickets are available at Skiddle:skiddle.com/e/35947014
Tickets available on the gate

Friday – Balloon & Fireworks 16:00-22:45
Adult £6 plus booking fee
Children £4 plus booking fee

Please be aware there is no live arena entertainment on Friday.

Saturday- Big Balloon Fiesta Day 11:45-22:45
Adult £6 plus booking fee
Children £4 plus booking fee

Can I buy tickets on the day?
Yes, you can, tickets are £8 adults and £6 children on the day.

Can I leave and come back?
Yes, you can leave and come back on the day, just make sure you have a hand stamp.

Can I book a balloon flight?

Can I bring my dog?
We are a dog-friendly event. Well-behaved dogs are welcome, we do ask that you keep them on a lead. Water will be around for the dogs.

Can I bring food and drink?
You can bring your own picnic, but strictly NO ALCOHOL or GLASS, bag searches will be in place on the day. There will be water taps where you can refill water bottles.

Can I bring a Gazebo?

No, we don’t allow gazebos or parasols, there will be some shaded areas around the racecourse. We do permit small half tents for children.

Is there Parking?

If you’re driving, there is a car park located across from the event. Disabled parking is available, please inform the stewards when you arrive. The car park will be signposted as you approach Uttoxeter Racecourse.

The car park will be open an hour before the event, 3pm on Friday and 11am Saturday.

Cars cannot be left without consent overnight.

Is camping available?

Are there toilets?

Yes there are plenty of facilities available including disabled toilets.

What times do the balloons go up?

The balloon flights are scheduled for Friday evening: 18:00-19:00

Saturday morning: 6:00-7:00

Saturday evening: 18:00-19:00

All balloon flights are weather dependent and subject to change, the Facebook page will be updated regularly regarding the weather conditions.
